Sit back and enjoy your four-hour private sightseeing tour, as we view gorgeous tropical islands, lavish landscapes and multi-million dollar homes. First on your adventure, we will head over to Cape Harbour Marina to see the beautiful yachts and the colorful Funky Fish Homes. Take in the sea breeze, while you enjoy the nature changing from mangroves to the open seas. As we throttle up feel the adrenaline rush, while we fly across the waves out on the Gulf of Mexico. Next we will pass Punta Rassa and the iconic Sanibel bridge.
Then we will sail around the historic Sanibel Lighthouse that withstood the hurricane force of Ian! Here we will stop for a perfect picture opportunity. On your tour you may encounter Dolphins, Manatees, Sea Turtles, Otters, Anhingas, Pelicans, Osprey and serene white sandy beaches as your host explains the marine life.
On your boat tour you will most likely see Common Bottlenose Dolphins. The question is will they come out to play? During the day dolphins are most active and is the best time to see dolphins socialize and play. Oftentimes our curious dolphin friends come right up to our boat!

Sunset & Dolphin Boat Tour (Evening)
Relax and unwind for a four-hour private sunset dolphin watching tour. First on your boat tour you’ll see the gorgeous multi-million-dollar waterfront homes of Cape Coral. Then we’ll pass through the beautiful yachts at Cape Harbour Marina. Next, we will venture through the stunning intracoastal waterways of the Gulf of Mexico and pass by the notorious Sanibel bridge. With an island view, you’ll watch the dolphins play, while the sky of fire puts on a delightful show. If you haven’t witnessed a sunset in southwest Florida, this is an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss!
Bottlenose Dolphins are the star of the show on this boat tour. The bottlenose dolphins show up in pods right before sunset to put on a dazzling show. You will have a front seat view and be astonished how magical these creatures really are. Be sure to bring your camera for gorgeous dolphin and sunset photos sure to make lasting memories. Boca Grande Island Adventure Boat Tour- Full Day
Boating to Boca Grande is simply the best way to travel in style with our brand new 2023 Sportsman to explore this blissful island gem! Boca Grande is the best kept secret upscale island in Southwest Florida that preserves it’s old Florida charm, breathtaking nature and serene crystal clear blue water. We will drop you off walking distance to everything so you can explore or rent a golf cart or bikes. On your stop, be sure to have lunch at the charming and refined Pink Elephant. Explore the island’s historic district, do a little shopping and walk to the beach. The beaches offer some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Florida and total and utter relaxation. Boca Grande beaches are known for their powdery white sands, aquamarine waters, incredible wildlife from dolphins, manatees, sea turtles to various birds and a perfect place for shelling. You won’t want to miss this slice of paradise!

Come with us on our twice-weekly boat cruises connecting Cape Coral with Naples! Ride on our new boat equipped with Seakeeper Ride technology to keep the ocean waves at bay while you embark on an unforgettable experience. Open waters, sea life, fantastic views of the Gulf and the shoreline on our way to Naples.
The city of Naples, Florida is famous for its high-end shopping, world-class arts and culture, and sophisticated dining, family fun, and wild outdoors. Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South are the focal points for Naples shopping in the historic downtown area, with numerous art galleries, chic clothing boutiques and home decor shops. After shopping, enjoy a quick stop at Naples beach for sunbathing and showing off your beachwear to the world on one of the nicest beaches in Florida.
After a fun filled day with shopping, arts and beach, our boat will pick you at the drop-off point (Naples City Marina) for a wonderful ride back to Cape Coral. The return leg is as well partially in international waters, you may see sea turtles and dolphins but definitely teal blue waters and a peek into the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Cape Harbour & Canal Sightseeing Boat Tour
View lush tropical landscapes and lavish million-dollar homes in our over 400 miles of canals. We will visit Cape Harbour and see the beautiful yachts and Funky colorful Fish Homes. We will pass though the Chiquita Boat Lock. Here you can stop and grab a bite to eat at the upscale waterfront restaurants, such as Rumrunners, Fathoms and the Oyster Bar and/or get a coffee or gelato at French Press. This is a very smooth easy going boat ride. You can even bring your dog. Great for those that want a shorter version of our other tours and looking for maximum relaxation.

Rene and Martin went above and beyond to find us a step-in/step-out dock with an ADA ramp, which really helped us board. Meet Martin & Rene. They are the fantastic couple who own & run the sunset dolphin cruise. Martin is responsible, safe and very personable – Rene is even more personable and an absolute blast to talk to. Our experience was weather delayed, however Martin & Rene did everything in their power to make sure we completed our tour. We met at the specified location and boarded the boat for a trip down the canals (wishing we lived in many of the houses) and through the locks into the open water. Dolphins are wild animals, and no company can guarantee what you will see, but Martin got us within feet of a pod of playful dolphins who seemed to enjoy us as much as we enjoyed them. We got an AMAZING sunset with Rene taking pictures of our group. Most importantly, they were more than welcoming to our 8 month daughter and took her into account with every decision that was made! We cannot wait to come back and see them again.

Why Choose Dolphin Boat Tours?
We aim to please and we love what we do! Our goal is to provide maximum happiness, comfort and joy throughout your private dolphin watching boat tour where you will create lasting memories. We offer a cheerful German Master Captain with boating experience of over forty years and lovely first Mate Rene to guide you with our two boats.
We keep our boats in great shape, with cleaning after each trip and regular maintenance. Our shiny yellow one is literally called the ‘Funship’ which includes a table, bathroom, swim platform and sink. The ‘Funship’ provides maximum comfort, leg room and plenty of shade.
Our newest model is the 2023 Sportsman Heritage 231 which includes a small bathroom, all the latest technology, Yeti cooler packed with ice for your drinks and snacks, JL speakers and a 10 foot power pole for easy anchoring. The Sportsman features the all new Seakeeper. The Seakeeper helps stabilize the boat, for a smoother, drier ride.
We determine which boat we use based on multiple factors, such as weather conditions, tide and which boat tour you will be taking.
Please feel free to call and speak with our Captain for any questions or requests prior to your booking. As a private pilot and Master Captain my motto is “weather is life”. You can rest assured you are in great hands and we will navigate you through the whole process from start to finish.
Special notes and what to bring: Please arrive 15 minutes early for a quick safety briefing plus meet and greet with Captain Martin and First Mate Rene. This is a slow moving vessel and ideal for all ages, however, our dock is not handicapped accessible and does have about five steps. We ask that you don’t board the boat with flip flops as they are a trip hazard. Consider bringing any food or drinks of your choice, sunblock, nonslip shoes, hat, light jacket (Nov-March), insect repellent and cash for tips. We only have a few rules, HAVE FUN, no red wine, no smoking, vaping or glass bottles.
